Wells Adams ‘Desperately’ Wants a Season of ‘Golden Bachelor in Paradise’

The 'BiP' bartender said 'anything's possible' when it comes to a potential spinoff featuring contestants of a certain age from the franchise's new hit show

It might be time for Bachelor in Paradise to pack up from the sandy beaches of Mexico for the calmer seas of Boca Raton.

Given the big ratings for Bachelor spinoff The Golden Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams is ready for some seniors to cozy up to his bar.

"I think anything's possible," he told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Thursday. "Everyone's very, very happy about the success of The Golden Bachelor. It makes sense that the next thing would be Golden Bachelorette and, ipso sexo, a Golden Bachelor in Paradise."

The premiere episode of The Golden Bachelor, starring 72-year-old Gerry Turner on his search for a second chance at love, was viewed by a cumulative audience of more than 11 million people — so it makes sense that Adams is ready to strike while the iron is hot.

"Everyone needs to drive around in golf carts, dates at shuffleboard courts," he joked. "I need to be making drinks but also have Mylanta on the side."

Adams concluded, "I can see it all in my mind's eye right now and so desperately want it."

Bachelor in Paradise — which takes contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and throws them together in an oceanfront resort — is currently in its ninth season, with new episodes airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, right after new episodes of The Golden Bachelor.
