Troye Sivan was a big fan of Timothée Chalamet's impression of him on Saturday Night Live.

The Australian pop star took to social media after watching this week's SNL episode, which featured a sketch where host Chalamet plays Sivan as cast member Sarah Sherman's sleep paralysis demon.

"WHY IS LIFE SO WEIRDDDDD RN LMAO IM DEAD," Sivan wrote on Instagram alongside a clip from the skit, tagging SNL, cast member Bowen Yang and Chalamet.

The Idol actor also posted a photo of himself in "pure shock" watching the parody on his Instagram Story – and changed his own profile picture to an image of Chalamet as Sivan.

In the sketch, Sherman portrays a woman "suffering from Troye Sivan dancing as her sleep demon," as a doctor played by Bowen Yang helpfully explains.

Chalamet's Sivan clarifies that he's not actually a sleep demon. "I'm an Australian YouTube twink-turned-indie pop star and model-turned-HBO actor Troye Sivan being played by an American actor who can't do an Australian accent," he says.

At the end of the bit, musical guest Boygenius' Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker appear as three more versions of Sivan.
