Treat Williams has reportedly been laid to rest. The services took place one week after the actor was killed in a motorcycle accident at age 71 on June 12.

According to Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight, the late actor was memorialized Monday in Vermont followed by a funeral on Tuesday, per People.

"It happened last night. It was beautiful and filled with love," the Hair actor's agent Barry McPherson told ET of the memorial. The Messenger has reached out for additional comment.

In a statement to The Messenger, Greg Cutler, the Selectboard Vice-Chair of the town of Manchester, said, "Treat, like all of the residents in town, was a valued member of the community and I think living here afforded him much more normalcy than his life in the city. When he was able to be here at his home, he loved working on his property, tinkering with his antique vehicles and he also gave much of his time to causes and organizations in and around Manchester."

Cutler continued, "I know we'll all really miss running into Treat at all the familiar places. Despite his fame, he was always quick with a smile and 'hello' to local and visiting fans. But to most of us, he was our neighbor, Treat."

Williams was set to appear in Nightbirds and American Outlaws prior to his sudden death. Most recently, he reprised his recurring role as Lenny Ross in a May episode of Blue Bloods.

In a 2020 interview, the Everwood star reflected on his long career, relishing that he had a balance between success and relative anonymity. "I've been lucky enough because I've been a character actor," he shared. "People treated me very nicely and that sort of thing, but I'm just as happy on my tractor in Vermont."

"Life outside of film, theater and television is really just as interesting and exciting for me," Williams added.

The three-time Golden Globe nominee is survived by his wife Pam Van Sant and their two children, Gille and Ellie.
