Taylor Swift Is ‘Not’ at Kansas City Chiefs-Minnesota Vikings Game, Says CBS Announcer
Swift fans hoping to see their idol at Kansas City Chiefs Kelce's Sunday game against the Minnesota Vikings were sorely let down
Taylor Swift fans hoping to see their idol at Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce's Sunday game against the Minnesota Vikings were sorely let down, as the singer proved to be nowhere in sight at Minneapolis's US Bank Stadium.
"The seven words I never thought would leave my lips in my career," wryly noted CBS's on-air commentator Jim Nantz early in the first quarter, when admitting that he'd been on the lookout for Swift. "Taylor Swift is not at the game."
He then added that it looked as if she was officially going to remain a no-show.
Reactions from deflated fans online poured in on X, many of them humorously lamenting the extent of their disappointment.

On Friday, ahead of the away game against the Vikings, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about his budding romance with the singer as he spoke to reporters.
"As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know — I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world, so it's fun," said Kelce, who's won the championship twice with the Chiefs.
After Kelce shot his shot with the 12-time Grammy winner at her Eras Tour over the summer, The Messenger broke the news that the pair has "been quietly hanging out."
Swift seemingly confirmed her new romance with Kelce last month as she supported him from the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears 41-10.
"They are keeping it light and fun and seeing where things go," a source told The Messenger after the game, as another said that they're "still keeping things casual" but things are "going well."
The Midnights singer has since made an appearance for the Chiefs' victory over the New York Jets (23-20) last weekend, where she was accompanied by pals Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, as well as her brother Austin Swift.
