Travis Kelce Feels ‘On Top of the World’ Amid Taylor Swift Romance, Winning Streak
'You've got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason,' the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told reporters ahead of Sunday's game
Travis Kelce has a lot to celebrate at the moment thanks to three consecutive winning games and his newest cheerleader, Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about his budding romance with the singer as he spoke to reporters on Friday, ahead of Sunday's away game against the Minnesota Vikings.
"As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know — I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world, so it's fun," said Kelce, who's won the championship twice with the Chiefs.
He continued, "We're learning with the paparazzi taking photos all over the place, but at the same time, it comes with it. You've got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason. You just got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments."
Kelce has previously said that he doesn't plan to discuss their relationship publicly as much anymore, and that the NFL broadcasts are "overdoing it a little bit" with their coverage of Swift's game appearances.
"At the end of the day, I've always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building," Kelce told press on Friday. "So, I'll just keep rolling with that."
Swift appeared to confirm her new romance with Kelce last month as she supported him from the VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears 41-10.
