Travis Kelce’s Stats Rise When Taylor Swift Attends Kansas City Chiefs Games

The Taylor Swift effect is in full swing when it comes to Travis Kelce's performance on the field after the 12-time Grammy winner attended a handful games to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

As seen in a clip shared by ESPN, CBS inspected Kelce's stats, comparing how he's played "with Taylor Swift in attendance" to when he's "left to his own devices."

So far this season, the two-time Super Bowl champion has logged 99 receiving yards per game when the "Lover" singer is present, compared to 46.5 when she's not there.

The effect could be why Chiefs coach Andy Reid is all for Swift making a cameo in the stands.

He joked that Swift "can stay around all she wants" after Kelce went off for 12 catches, 179 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs' 31 to 17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The Chiefs, winners of six straight, are undefeated (4-0) when Swift attends their games. She's only missed one game (Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings, which Kansas City also won).

"Kelce keeps getting better with time," Reid said. "Taylor can stay around all she wants."

Last month, The Messenger was first to report that Swift and Kelce were "quietly hanging out." Now, they "can't keep their hands off one another," a person close to the singer told The Messenger.
