Travis Barker Reveals Strict, Old-School Dating Rules for Teenage Daughter

Travis Barker may be a cool dad, but he is still plenty protective of his teenage daughter.

In a video posted on TikTok, the Blink-182 drummer revealed some of his dating rules for Alabama Luella Barker, his daughter with ex-wife Shanna Moakler who turned 18 last month.

"I'm asking my 'strict but not strict' dad hypothetical questions," Alabama explained in the video.

If he ever caught her sneaking out of the house at night, Barker, who said that he does not consider himself to be a strict parent, told Alabama that he would "tell you how dangerous it is and maybe try to put you on a restriction."

"I'm not even kidding you, restriction was his thing," she responded.

"What would you do if I went out with a boy and I just completely stopped answering you?" Alabama asked next. "I would come to your location and I would find you," he replied.

Barker went on to say that she is allowed to have guy friends over "if I'm home" but can't close the door "without me coming in to check on you," and he's definitely not OK with her driving to a guy's house at night by herself.

And when Alabama stays out past her curfew, which has actually happened in the past, Barker said that he tells her "you don't need to go anywhere the next day and stress to you how important curfew is."

Barker also shares son Landon, 20, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with Shanna Moakler. He welcomed his first child with wife Kourtney Kardashian, Rocky Thirteen, in November, and is now stepdad to her three kids with ex Scott Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8.

After Alabama turned 18 on Dec. 24, Barker took to Instagram to celebrate. "Happy Birthday my beautiful daughter. I can't believe my baby is 18 and all grown up," he wrote. "Being your Dad is the biggest joy in the world. May you be surrounded by love and all your favorite things today and forever! I'm so proud of you and I love you so much."
