Before the world knew about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, the pair was busy getting to know each other in secret.

Their megawatt orbits collided after the Kansas City Chiefs star decided to shoot his shot on his podcast New Heights back in July.

"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," Swift told Time, after being voted the magazine's Person of the Year. "We started hanging out right after that."

From there, the duo started finding opportunities to see each other in between Swift's Eras Tour dates.

"So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew," Swift revealed, "which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other."

The Messenger exclusively broke the news that Swift and Kelce had been hanging out on Sep. 12.

"By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple," Swift said of her appearance at the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears Sept. 25. "I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

In the time since, Swift has attended four more Chiefs games — including a trip to Green Bay last weekend — and Kelce traveled to Argentina during his team's bye week last month to see Swift perform.

"When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves," Swift said, "we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care."

And frankly, she's not interested in the alternative.

"The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you're seeing someone," she noted. "And we're just proud of each other."
