Taylor Swift Gets Golden Globe Nomination for ‘The Eras Tour’ Movie

Taylor Swift is having a banner year and on Dec. 11 she found herself on another coveted list: the Golden Globe nominations. On Monday morning, the pop superstar received her fifth Golden Globes nomination — this time, for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, her groundbreaking concert film.

Swift's nomination comes in one of two new categories for the 2024 Golden Globes: Cinematic and Box-Office Achievement. The category recognizes eight nominees whose box office receipts grossed $150 million or more, $100 million of which came from domestic sales.

The Eras Tour is nominated alongside fellow 2023 box office winners Barbie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Previously, Swift was nominated in the Best Original Song, Motion Picture category on four occasions: in 2013 for The Hunger Games' "Safe and Sound," in 2014 for One Chance's "Sweeter Than Fiction," in 2020 for Cats' "Beautiful Ghosts" and in 2023 for Where the Crawdads Sing's "Carolina."
