Taylor Olympios Jokes Sister Corinne Will Think She’s a ‘Disappointment’ After Watching Netflix’s ‘Surviving Paradise’ (Exclusive)
On Netflix's 'Surviving Paradise,' Taylor Olympios acts the 'complete opposite' of big sister Corinne, she exclusively tells The Messenger
For the Olympios sisters, reality television is a family business.
While older sister Corinne — who first made a name for herself on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor — is off competing on E!'s House of Villains, little sister Taylor is one of 15 hopefuls with a shot at an eye-popping $200,000 on Netflix's newest series Surviving Paradise. The only catch? This group of unsuspecting partiers are suddenly dropped into the wilderness, battling their way into a luxurious villa for a chance at the money.
But, after watching her performance on Surviving Paradise, Taylor thinks Corinne might have some choice words.
"I really stay true to myself, try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and just be open-minded and kind to everyone — which is the complete opposite of my sister, because she's the greatest villain ever to live on the planet," Taylor exclusively told The Messenger. "She's gonna watch this show and be like, 'What a disappointment! I did not raise a not-villain sister!'"
The Next Influencer alum added that, when she came home from filming, she told her sister, "I won't be joining you on Season 2 of House of Villains."
But, before she jetted off to paradise, her big sister did give her some advice for making it on the small screen, which Taylor took to heart.

"She told me that there's always going to be a time where you might feel alone. I'm not gonna say it's hard being us, but there's been many situations where we are alone and we are the underdog — even in school, growing up, with simple things like school projects," she explained. "So I definitely remembered that, because there was a point where I was kind of alone in the woods."
Taylor recalled when, during the show's first episode, the group was making alliances without her. So, after being alone for "hours," she struck up a friendship with castmate Sisco Williams, who became her first ally.
Ultimately, Taylor also teams up with Shea Foster, and they begin a showmance. The two become extremely close, saying "I love you" and even giving up spots in the house for one another.
When asked if she always planned to be a loyal game player, Taylor answered honestly, saying, "No!"
"I think the woods broke down the real, true inside of me," she said. "It was kind of like, 'Listen, this is either gonna psych me out, or I'm just gonna keep being true to myself and keep showing people that I am worth being in an alliance with.'"
Find out how Taylor fares by streaming Surviving Paradise. All nine episodes of Season 1 are now available on Netflix.
