Taylor Armstrong Leaving ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ After Historic Season
'Thankful I got to give the viewers an update on my life,' Taylor Armstrong shared after joining 'RHOC' for Season 17
Taylor Armstrong is saying goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
After making history as the first Housewife to transfer franchises, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said she will not be returning for Season 18.
"Loved spending time with the ladies of RHOC and thankful I got to give the viewers an update on my life," Armstrong wrote on Instagram Wednesday. "I've made some real friendships that I cherish. Wishing the ladies all the best for Season 18."
She added, "P.S. Adding season 17 to my IMDb."
Soon after the announcement, many of Armstrong's co-stars sent their well wishes. "You will be missed Taylor. #friendsforever," Tamra Judge wrote in the comments section. Jennifer Pedranti added, "I love you SO much."
Earlier this month, The Messenger caught up with Armstrong and asked about her future plans on reality TV. At the time, the Orange County resident expressed her hopes to continue with the franchise.
"I do want to come back," she said at Patrick Carroll's Kickz for Kids charity event on Nov. 16. "Coming in through an existing cast, I had to learn some of their backstory so in the first season with them, I was still trying to figure out what the beef is between some of them from the past."

Now that she knows more about the cast dynamics, Armstrong said, "I would have a much more interesting perspective on the relationships."
"The season was so good," she added. "I think they'll probably just leave it the way it was, but I have no idea."
