It's still early in the 2024 NFL season, but plans are already coming together for the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl LVIII halftime show headliner has already been announced. When we heard who it was, we said "Yeah!"

Here's everything we know so far about the 2024 Apple Music halftime show, including who's performing, when and where you can watch it, and what to expect.

Take that, rewind it back, Ursher got the voice to make the stadium go clap!

Following the end of his Las Vegas residency, the Atlanta R&B icon will bring the show to the 50-yard line. Halftime show sponsor Apple Music announced Sunday that the "Burn" singer will be performing at Super Bowl LVIII via a minute-long skit featuring Kim Kardashian.

In the clip, which was posted on X, (formerly Twitter), Kardashian calls Usher and "breaks the news" that he's been picked for the gig, and gives him her ticket request. (In reality, halftime show executive producer Jay-Z told him he had been selected for this "bucket list" performance, Usher revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe.)

Usher — full name Usher Raymond — is known as "the King of R&B" for his 30-year run as one of America's top hitmakers. He has sold over 100 million records worldwide, and has had nine singles reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including "U Remind Me" and "Love in This Club."

So far, Usher is the only performer announced. Sometimes headliners have special guests to help them perform their songs, but they often do not — for example, last year Rihanna did the halftime show solo, performing a medley of songs and skipping over other artists' verses. We'll see if Usher follows a similar format, or if he brings out Ludacris and Lil Jon for "Yeah!"

It will be Usher's second time performing at the Super Bowl; in 2011, he descended from the sky to join headliners the Black Eyed Peas to perform his song with Will.i.am, "OMG."

He will release his new album "Coming Home" on the same day as the Super Bowl. The first single from the album, "Good Good" featuring Summer Walker and 21 Savage, was released this summer.

Other performers were rumored to be performing before Usher was officially announced. Lizzo shot down speculation that she had had her offer to perform revoked amid her backup dancer scandal, with the singer's representative denying she had ever been in consideration. And fans were hoping that boy band *NSYNC was reuniting to perform at the big game, but the group has no plans to perform live at the moment.

Where and when to watch Super Bowl LVIII

The 2024 Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Henderson, Nevada. It will be the first time the Super Bowl is played in the Las Vegas area, home of the Las Vegas Raiders since 2020.

Fans will have many options for how to watch the game. It will air on CBS as well as Univision, the Spanish-language network's first time broadcasting the game. It will stream live on Paramount+. And a kid-oriented broadcast will air on Nickelodeon, which will be the first time the Super Bowl has had an alternate telecast, according to the NFL. The Nickelodeon broadcast could feature superimposed graphics like slime in the end zone or SpongeBob SquarePants between the goalposts during field goal attempts.

There are many things that won't be determined until much closer to game day — chiefly what teams will be playing, but also details like kickoff time and who will perform the national anthem.

After the game, CBS will premiere its most-anticipated new show of the season, Justin Hartley's Tracker.
