‘Summer House’ Star Lindsay Hubbard Blindsided By Carl Radke Calling Off Engagement: Source

Summer House star Carl Radke called off his engagement to co-star Lindsay Hubbard on Wednesday night, a source confirms to The Messenger. 

"He called off the engagement on camera yesterday but they're trying to figure things out," the source shares. "She's blindsided."

The reality stars' engagement was featured during Season 7 of the long-running Bravo series, with Radke getting down on one knee and popping the question to the Hubb House PR founder during a beach picnic right before sunset in August 2022. 

"William Carl Radke... Your proposal was absolutely perfect! [diamond ring emoji]," Hubbard captioned an Instagram Reel after their engagement aired. "That's a whole lotta love. I love you so f---ing much!"

Shortly before the LoverBoy investor asked for Hubbard's hand in marriage, Radke gushed about her in an Instagram post marking her 36th trip around the sun. 

"Happy Birthday Lindsay Dale Hubbard. These are some of my favorite moments from the last 9+ months of traveling, laughing, eating and enjoying each other's crazy lives," he captioned a carousel of sweet snaps. "Your smile says it all! You continue to amaze me with your strength and growth. This is gonna be your best year yet! I love you."

The former couple first met during the summer of 2016. Fans watched their close friendship evolve over the first few seasons of Summer House, with Radke and Hubbard attempting to date after hooking up in between Seasons 3 and 4. Though their romance initially fizzled out, the duo remained friends and eventually gave their relationship another shot, rekindling their romance in the fall of 2021.

"We're lucky because eventually, the universe came together and the timing worked out!" Hubbard told People in May 2022. "I don't think I've ever been in a healthier relationship. Falling in love with your best friend, I don't think there's any better feeling in the world."
