Sports Illustrated Model Carol Alt Joins OnlyFans at 62
'I wanted to remind fans that you only have one life so never allow the opinions of others block you from achieving your highest potential,' model Carol Alt said
For years, Carol Alt spent most of her career gracing the covers of magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue and more. Now, the international model is taking her skills elsewhere: OnlyFans.
In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Alt, 62, opened up about her new career move, explained why "age is not a limitation" and revealed how she'll be using her new platform for good.
"Life is about being a maverick," Alt told the publication. "Life experience is a powerful tool if channeled properly. OnlyFans is the next generation of content producing revenue. It's important to own your own content. Platforms like this are the future. Always move with the times."
"I am taking risks, exploring new ways to connect with the audience and fans," she added.
The model — whose first big break was in 1979, when she was featured on the cover of Harper's Bazaar — said she's in no way ashamed of the move. In fact, she feels more empowered than ever.
"I have been turned down many times," she said. "And found other avenues to take to reach my goals. People always say no first … You can't let that slow you down. The Kardashians built a global empire chartering new terrain. The only limitations you have are the limitations you put on yourself. Age is not a limitation. It's only a limitation if you see it that way.

"The key to life is to always live your life exploring the new and the uncharted," she continued. "It keeps you young, and it keeps you relevant. I wanted to remind fans that you only have one life so never allow the opinions of others block you from achieving your highest potential.
"After Covid the world changed but the most important lesson I personally learned is to live every day to the fullest without apology or seeking approval from others," she added. "Time to charter new terrain while paying close attention to our friends and neighbors."
As the season of giving is among us, the author of A Healthy You said she's looking forward to using her new platform as a way to give back to those in need.
"Sometimes people experience anxiety, depression and general apathy because they do not see a pathway forward to living a different life away from what society deems successful or normal," she said. "This is the reason I am donating a portion of my earnings from this project to mental health causes."
"Take the time each day to try something new, something different and without apology or self judgement," she said. "We judge ourselves too much."
