Sophie Turner Reflects on ‘Year of the Girlies’ Amid Joe Jonas Divorce

Sophie Turner is thankful for her friendships that have blossomed over the past year. The Game of Thrones actress reflected on 2023 in a new post on Instagram Tuesday.

"2023 was the year of the girlies. 2024s forecast is looking fairly consistent," she captioned a carousel of photos, including one with Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

The Do Revenge actress' end-of-year recap post comes amid her split with estranged husband Joe Jonas, with whom she shares two daughters: Willa, 3, and 1-year-old Delphine.

Jonas filed for divorce in September, ending his marriage with Turner after four years. Following four days of mediation, he filed to dismiss his divorce petition in October while the two "continue to pursue an amicable resolution of all issues" regarding the split.

The former couple reached an interim custody agreement in October following a weeks-long battle over their children's primary residence. Turner initially wanted the girls to stay in their "forever home" in England, while Jonas said he was "okay" with them being dual citizens in the US and UK.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K.," they previously said in a statement to The Messenger. "We look forward to being great co-parents."
