Sophie Turner has separated from the legal team that has been handling her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Joe Jonas, The Messenger can confirm.
The actress parted ways from her previous legal team at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt in Fort Myers, Texas, and opted to hire attorneys Dori Foster-Morales and Nicole Alvarez, who are located in Miami.
Additionally, Foster-Morales has requested a rescheduling of their Nov. 17 hearing due to her unavailability. Jonas and Turner also have a second special hearing in Miami set for Dec. 14 and will have until Dec. 23 to share an update on their plans with their SDNY judge following an interim consent order.
In September, the Jonas Brothers singer first filed for divorce from Turner in Miami, stating that their marriage was "irretrievably broken" after four years. The former couple shares daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
Jonas and Turner then shared a joint statement: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy and our children."
They have since listed their $6 million New York City apartment.

Following four days of mediation with Turner last month, Jonas filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution of marriage in Miami-Dade County Court, according to records obtained by The Messenger. The paperwork noted that the co-parents "continue to pursue an amicable resolution of all issues" regarding their dissolution and custody agreement.
According to the filing, Jonas and Turner have "engaged in mediation and intend to engage in further mediation" without involving the court.
Attorneys for the exes previously told The Messenger they filed a motion "vacating all deadlines and trial dates submitted herewith," adding: "The parties believe that an amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming."
The Messenger has reached out to the corresponding legal teams for comment.
