Olympic athlete Simone Biles is letting fans in on details of the evening she attended the same NFL game as pop star Taylor Swift.

The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Dec. 3 with a score of 27-19, and both women were in attendance at the game. Biles is married to Packers safety Jonathan Owens, and Swift is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. But Biles was unprepared for the love awaiting her, even seeing posters of herself around the city.

"It's a little bit weird because I'm like, This is definitely not my gig," Biles told Vanity Fair in an interview published Wednesday. "But I know how excited [the fans] are."

Though they were both at the game, Biles said "there was no selfie" with Swift. They were sitting in different sections anyway, "and I'm not sure they were exactly happy that the Packers were beating them," she added.

The athlete spoke more about Swift while contemplating her rise to fame since the 2013 Olympics at just 16 years old.

"I think everyone wants to be famous," she said, "and then when it happens, you almost hit a wall and you have an identity crisis. You're like, Am I made out for this? Why did I wish for this?"

Fame is also difficult for her parents, "but everything is kind of out of their hands," said Biles. "I'm not saying that [people] scream and line up like I'm Taylor Swift, [but] I still get a lot of attention. When five people come up to me and they're rushing for a photo, I just get a little flustered. My anxiety kicks in."
