Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has been formally charged a month after being arrested for drunkenly driving her car into a Newport Beach home.

On Friday, the Orange County District Attorney charged the Bravo personality with one count of driving under the influence and one count of hit-and-run, both of which are misdemeanors.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Beador blew a .24% blood alcohol content (BAC) after the crash, putting her at over three times the legal limit.

After allegedly hitting the residence, Beador reportedly turned around, parked in the middle of the street and got out of her car. When police arrived, she allegedly pretended that she was taking a walk with her dog, Archie.

Beador enrolled in an outpatient behavioral wellness program with an alcohol component earlier this month. She is still expected to take part in her Tres Amigas comedy shows with fellow Bravo stars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson.

"I know it's been a while since I posted, and there's been a lot of talk about everything that's happened recently," Beador said in a video posted to social media. "But, unfortunately right now, I'm not in the position to comment, but there will be a time when I can. I intend to be open, honest and authentic. Right now, I'm focusing on getting healthy and getting back to myself — and walking Archie."

At the time of her September arrest, Beador's attorney, Michael Fell, issued the following statement to The Messenger: "I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is extremely apologetic and remorseful. We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions."

When contacted by The Messenger, representatives of Beador and Bravo declined to comment on the charges.
