Shania Twain’s Crew Members Hospitalized After Tour Bus Accident
'We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support,' Shania Twain's management company said in a statement
Members of Shania Twain's crew were hospitalized this week following a traffic accident in Canada.
“One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain — Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon," the singer's management company Maverick Management said in a statement to The Messenger Wednesday. "Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals."
According to People, Twain was not on the bus at the time of the accident and is safe.
"We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support," the statement continued. "We ask for patience as we look after our touring family."
Since the end of April, the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" singer and her crew have been traveling across the United States, Canada and Europe for a massive tour.
Twain last performed at the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Tuesday and is scheduled to hit the stage at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon on Thursday. The two cities are approximately 500 miles apart.
After her current tour wraps up, Twain is expected to return to her residency at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.
