Shakira Brings Her and Ex Gerard Piqué’s Sons Milan and Sasha as Her Dates to 2023 MTV VMAs

Shakira walked the 2023 MTV VMAs pink carpet with her two children, Milan and Sasha, as her dates.

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer wore a silver dress as she embraced her sons as they sauntered through the event space.

Shakira split from her boyfriend of ten years, Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, in 2022; months later, he was linked to his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. Shakira then sang about their relationship drama in her song "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53," which made YouTube chart history for its number of views.

Shakira was recently spotted with racer Lewis Hamilton, but sources previously told The Messenger nothing is serious quite yet between the pair. The Columbian songstress is also facing tax evasion charges in Spain and recently relocated to Miami, Fla., with her sons.

Shakira is set to receive the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award later in the night and will give a performance of her career-defining hits.
