'Selling the OC' Season 2: Cast, Release Date, Trailer - The Messenger
It's time to break the news. The Messenger's slogan

Grab your highest pair of heels and an appetite for drama, because we're headed back to the OC.

After Season 1 debuted on Netflix in August 2022, Selling the OC — the Oppenheim Group's Orange County spin-off — was renewed for Seasons 2 and 3. But a lot has changed in the off-season, from the Alexandras' relationship with the rest of the office to Tyler Stanaland's relationship status. Below, find everything you need to know about when we'll be getting Selling the OC Season 2 (and if we'll be seeing any of that messy divorce drama in the process).

'Selling the OC' Season 2 release date

TLDR: There's no official release date yet, but it'll likely come back this year.

THE DETAILS: Netflix hasn't told fans of the spin-off when, exactly, we'll be seeing the office's signature steel desks again — but we have an idea. The show was first announced in November 2021, but was released nine months later in August 2022. If that pattern remains, Selling the OC was renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 in January 2023, meaning we'll likely get Season 2 around September 2023. According to Deadline, filming officially began in the winter.

Plus, cast member Alex Hall exclusively confirmed to The Messenger that, much like its sister show Selling Sunset, the Selling the OC cast filmed Seasons 2 and 3 back-to-back — meaning we could be getting even more drama and more real estate ASAP.

'Selling the OC' Season 2 cast

TLDR: The Selling the OC Season 1 cast will all likely be returning for Season 2.

THE DETAILS: Netflix hasn't officially confirmed which agents will be making their return — but after last season's drama, we have to hope it'll be all of them. And don't expect a repeat of the debut season — Hall exclusively teased that even seasoned O Group fans won't expect the new office dynamics at play.

"There are a lot of friendships that have formed that I never would have expected," she told The Messenger in May. "And there are friendships that have broken that I never would have expected."

"All I can say is that I never would have expected it to be where it's at today," she added. "Things just really took a turn. And I'm not sure how, or when or even why. But there is a very, very strong divide in the office now, which is unfortunate."

Plus, we'll be seeing a familiar face on our screens — Selling Sunset's Mary Fitzgerald confirmed on a May episode of The Viall Files podcast that she'll be making an appearance in Season 2 or 3.

Below, find the cast of Selling the OC Season 1, all of whom will likely be returning for Season 2.

'Selling the OC' Season 1 recap

THE DETAILS: Though it may have been the debut season, Season 1 welcomed drama galore, with Jarvis and Rose being pitted against the rest of the agents in the office who labeled them "bullies" and as having "hateful energy." Meanwhile, tensions rose when Cardona tried to kiss Stanaland — who was, at that time, married to actress Brittany Snow — off-screen, and Hall got into it with Helou after an awkward encounter with his wife, Tiffany.

Plus, a lot has happened in the off-season. Snow filed for divorce from Stanaland in January 2023, and rumors of a romance between Stanaland and Hall have continued despite Hall denying the relationship. Meanwhile, Jarvis has said some castmates have "apologized profusely" since Season 1 wrapped, while others have "grown a little bit closer." The agent also since got married to businessman Sergio Ducoulombier in April 2023.

TLDR: Season 2 will likely have eight episodes.

THE DETAILS: While Netflix hasn't confirmed how many episodes Season 2 will have, Season 1 had eight episodes, so it's likely Season 2 will follow the same pattern.
