‘Seinfeld’ Was Once Turned Into Not One, but Two, Porn Parodies
The porn parody film version of 'Seinfeld' (called, naturally, 'Seinfeld: An XXX Parody') got rave reviews in 2009 and even had a sequel
Seinfeld had a major cultural impact during its 1990s run and, thanks to streaming, continues to find new audiences. Whether or not you're a fan, you've likely heard of the show about the fictional, everyday misadventures of stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his friends (played by Jason Alexander as George Constanza, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine Benes and Michael Richards as Cosmo Kramer) in New York City, which ran from 1989 to 1998.
Still, you may not know that the popular sitcom was ultimately parodied as a pornographic film. Seinfeld: An XXX Parody, released in 2009, was so well-received that it even garnered a sequel.
The film commits to being accurate to the show
The first film stars adult film star James Deen, whose website dubs him "the biggest name in adult entertainment," as the parodied version of Seinfeld's main character, "Gerry." The well-known apartment set of the actual show is replicated, as are other characters Elaine, Kramer and George who all get parodied versions of themselves in the pornographic film. (The characters' names are changed to "Elaina," "Crammer" and "Gorge.")
According to Forward, the adult film actors watched episodes of the show to master their impressions of the famous sitcom characters. The movie runs for 2 hours and 23 minutes according to IMDB, and is based on a seventh-season episode of Seinfeld, "The Soup Nazi," where the owner of a soup counter is put off by George and Elaine's behavior at his establishment.

The film embraces built-in story elements of Seinfeld to make its NSFW scenes
The resulting now famous line from the "Soup Nazi" episode ("No soup for you!") is aptly repurposed for the film's premise, wherein "Elaina" encounters a "Porn Nazi" — an adult video store owner who refuses to sell her a porn tape. Elaina then encounters a stranger who then ushers in one of many NSFW scenes.
The film also leans into fan fantasies from the show, specifically around the original characters Jerry and Elaine, who were romantically linked early on in the show. While audiences loved the idea of the pairing, they never got back together.
The adult film received rave reviews, and just a year later in 2010 Seinfeld: A XXX Parody 2 was released, starring the same adult stars that led the first one. This time, the film's plot was based on the Season 4 episode "The Contest," in which the crew competes to see who can go the longest without sexual gratification.
Parody 2 didn't have to stray too far to replicate that one — the adult film sequel has a near-identical logline as the original.
