Sarah Ferguson is allegedly standing by ex-husband Prince Andrew after he was infamously named in recently released court documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Ferguson, whose divorce from the royal was finalized in 1996, "has been drafted in to double down on her wifely duties" amid the scandal, Mail on Sunday royal editor Charlotte Griffiths told GB News host Mark Dolan, per Express.

"Even though they are not married, she is very much on hand nonstop to just keep him going," Griffiths added.

As for how Prince Andrew is doing, Griffiths claimed he is "at a very low ebb," adding: "That's probably obvious, but friends are really saying, seriously, he is at a really low ebb. There are reports saying he was locked in his room for a portion of this week."

On Jan. 3, the names of 150-plus people tied to the Epstein case were released. The royal was named as an alleged participant engaging in sex with minors at the behest of the late Epstein.

"Perhaps even more important to her role in Epstein's sexual abuse ring, [Ghislaine] Maxwell had direct connections to other powerful individuals with whom she could connect Epstein. For instance, one such powerful individual Epstein forced Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with was a member of the British Royal Family, Prince Andrew (a/k/a Duke of York)," the documents state.

Jane Doe #3 was reportedly "forced to have sexual relations" with Prince Andrew, and Epstein allegedly instructed her to "give the Prince whatever he demanded."

"Maxwell facilitated Prince Andrew's acts of sexual abuse by acting as a 'madame' for Epstein, thereby assisting in internationally trafficking Jane Doe #3 (and numerous other young girls) for sexual purposes," the documents explained.

Buckingham Palace has called the allegations "categorically untrue," and the Metropolitan Police told The Messenger that Prince Andrew is not being investigated.
