‘RHONY’ Star Erin Lichy Reveals Cast Was ‘Not Really On Speaking Terms’ After Reunion (Exclusive)

Things were 'really bad' in the group, Lichy exclusively tells The Messenger

Tensions were as high as skyscrapers after the Real Housewives of New York Season 14 reunion. After an explosive final two episodes capping off the RHONY reboot, cast member Erin Lichy exclusively told The Messenger that the group wasn't exactly in the best place — until recently.

"Things were a roller coaster," Lichy said while speaking to The Messenger exclusively at Z100's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2023 presented by Capital One on Friday night. "After the reunion, it was really bad. We were not really on speaking terms."

"But we all have come back," she added. "We really always reconnect. We're solid in that way."

During the reunion, Ubah Hassan came for her fellow castmates, accusing Jenna Lyons of not being "genuine," telling Lichy she was "gaslighting" her during the season and adding that Brynn Whitfield doesn't know how to "be loved." Meanwhile, Sai de Silva claimed that Lichy was a "liar" after they got into it over dishes like shakshuka and cheese; afterwards, Jessel Taank confronted the duo for implying that her marriage to Pavit Randhawa was on the rocks.

The group has since moved on from the special episodes, which aired in October, though. Lichy told the Messenger that she will now be hanging out with "some of the girls" this weekend for the holidays.

However, only time will tell when we'll see the new Real Housewives of New York again, as Lichy confirmed that contracts haven't gone out for a new season.

"Not yet. Not yet," she said. "But we'll see what happens."

In October, Hassan seconded that account, exclusively telling The Messenger at the 25th Anniversary Angel Ball in New York City, "it all depends. We'll see. We don't really know yet."

If she had to wager a guess as to why the cast is still in the dark about a potential renewal, the Ubah Hot founder estimated that Bravo executives were "doing it on purpose, because they don't want us to spill the beans."

In the meantime, the former RHONY cast — including Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Kristen Taekman and Dorinda Medley — is reuniting for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. The first three episodes premiere on Peacock Thursday. Seasons 1-14 of The Real Housewives of New York are now streaming on Peacock.
