Priscilla Presley is telling her story onscreen with her Sofia Coppola-helmed A24 biopic, but the world is about to get acquainted with star Cailee Spaeny.

The 25-year-old actress plays the titular Presley family matriarch in Priscilla — now playing in theaters — which is sure to be her breakout role after getting a referral from Coppola muse Kirsten Dunst and earning the real Priscilla's stamp of approval.

Spaeny told The Hollywood Reporter that after watching the movie for the first time at the Venice Film Festival in September, Priscilla "turned to me and said, 'Great performance. I watched my life through you, and you did an incredible job.'"

"So that’s all I needed to hear, and it doesn't matter what anyone says now," added Spaeny. "I mean, I'm very grateful that it seems like the reception is mostly positive, but genuinely, just to hear that from her is everything to me."
