Pearl Jam has postponed its concert at Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis tonight (Sunday, Sept. 10) due to an unspecified illness within the band. A rescheduled date has yet to be announced.

"The band is deeply sorry, and thinking about all those who travel to shows, as well as the great crowd in Indy," the group wrote in a statement on social media. "It's obviously serious, and we wish there was another way around it. Again we apologize, and thanks so much for your understanding. It's not easy."

Tickets for tonight's show will be honored at the rescheduled date. Ticket holders who cannot attend the rescheduled show will be eligible for a refund.

Pearl Jam kicked off its first tour of 2023 in Minnesota on Aug. 31. During a stop in Chicago this past week, the band donated money to fund a new basketball court on the city's West Side.

The shows in Fort Worth, Texas this coming week, Sept. 13 and Sept. 15, will still proceed as scheduled, as will Sept. 18 and 19 in Austin, per the band's post.
