Paramount is celebrating Oct. 3 — also known as Mean Girls Day — by letting fans watch the movie for free.

To celebrate the holiday (which is a reference to a much-quoted line from the 2004 film), Paramount Pictures launched an official Mean Girls TikTok account. The entire 1 hour and 47 minute film, broken into 23 parts, is now available for free to watch on the account.

Although it may be more efficient to simply stream Mean Girls on Paramount+ or for free on YouTube with ads, uploading movies and TV shows to TikTok in 15-plus parts is a common trend on the social platform.

There are accounts dedicated to chopping up movies and TV shows (Family Guy, Young Sheldon and Chicago Med are some of the most commonly-found shows on the platform) into 10-minute clips.

The TikTok account's bio (which also quotes another line from the film: "Get in loser, we're going shopping") also includes a link to Paramount’s website offering DVD, Blu-ray and digital versions of Mean Girls for purchase.

Meanwhile, the movie musical adaptation of Mean Girls, based on the Broadway production, is set to release Jan. 12, 2024. Reneé Rapp, Angourie Rice, Avantika, Jaquel Spivey and Auli'i Cravalho will star in the new film.
