Paramore Cancels Upcoming Concert After Wiping Social Media Accounts
Paramore, the pop punk band behind 'Misery Business' and other hits, recently deleted all their posts from Instagram
Paramore has canceled an upcoming concert performance leaving fans to speculate even more about the band's future.
In a new Instagram Story posted Thursday, the group consisting of Taylor York, Hayley Williams and Zac Farro said they could no longer perform at a radio station's annual concert.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore can no longer attend and perform at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO on January 13," the band announced. "The band apologizes for any inconvenience."
The cancellation is the latest chapter in Paramore's tumultuous history.
ALT 98.7 Los Angeles also confirmed the news on Instagram adding that the radio station wishes the band "all the best and hope to see them soon."
"In the meantime — BIG THANKS to our friends @FallOutBoy who will now be joining this amazing lineup of artists!!" the station shared. "It's going to be an incredible night at the Honda Center. We love you guys and can't wait to see everyone next Saturday."

The future of Paramore is uncertain following the clearing of all their social media accounts.
Despite 3.5 million followers on their verified Instagram, Paramore's account has an empty profile with zero posts and the default gray square serving as a profile photo. Their bio simply reads "paramore."
Although the band is slated to tour around Europe with Taylor Swift this summer, all three members agreed in a recent interview with UPROXX that there's a level of uncertainty at what comes next.
"The only thing that matters is we will still get to be each other's community," Williams told the outlet. Farro added, "I just hope we can keep building the Paramore empire and then rule the world."
The 2024 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO presented by Capital One will also feature performances from The 1975, The Black Keys, 30 Seconds To Mars, Bush, Sum 41, Yellowcard and more. Fans can listen to the concert live Jan. 13th at 11 p.m. EST on iHeartRadio stations.
