Mötley Crüe have canceled their New Year’s Eve arena concert in Palm Springs, Calif.

The band released a statement on social media, stating that the cancellation is due to issues beyond their control.

"It is with deep regret we must inform you the Crüe Year’s Eve show in Palm Springs is being canceled," the band wrote in a brief social media post. "The very short time frame to produce the event resulted in issues beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024!"

The "Crüe Years Eve" show was slated to be their final concert of the year. NME reports that the band has now added two new shows in Atlantic City on May 3 and 4, which will come ahead of the festivals they are playing in the U.S. and Canada next summer.

The band seems to be headed into a busy year, as bassist Nikki Sixx revealed that they new album is "officially done." The album’s title and release date are being kept under wraps.

The cancellation comes after last week’s report that Tommy Lee is being sued for sexual assault. The lawsuit states that the drummer forced himself upon her in a helicopter in 2003. The alleged victim also claims that Lee was consuming alcohol and cocaine with the aircraft’s pilot while they were in the air.
