Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has revealed how Jersey Shore stars Vinny Guadagnino and Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio reacted to details of one of their sexual excursions being aired in their friend's new book.

"I did inform Vinny and Pauly that the MVP [Mike/Vinny/Pauly] orgy was in the book, and we kind of chuckled at that fact, and we looked at each other and [asked] like, 'Was there more than one?' And we kind of chuckled at each other," Sorrentino shares exclusively with The Messenger ahead of the release of his upcoming memoir

In Reality Check: Making the Best of the Situation - How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison, out Dec. 19, Sorrentino reveals many details of how untamed his behavior was before he became sober eight years ago. This includes everything from dangerous drug use to no-limits partying to a tax-fraud scandal that eventually landed him in prison.

Sorrentino says that while his co-stars would be receiving their copies of his book over the next week, he gave Guadagnino and DelVecchio a heads up that their shared endeavor would be discussed.

He describes the conversation as "kind of like a full-disclosure moment that we hadn't had in about 15 years."

"But everyone had laughed and chuckled because we have such amazing relationships today, and we're practically family that, you know, we can be honest about how wild and crazy we were when we were younger," he adds.

Sorrentino also notes the irony that these two men are now "Uncle Vinny" and "Uncle Pauly" to Sorrentino's young children, whom he shares with his wife, Lauren.

While fans saw the three reality stars spend their summers romancing and taking women back to their shared house in the Jersey Shore's Seaside Heights on the hit reality series, Sorrentino reveals in his book that the three had actually engaged in an orgy before Jersey Shore first aired on MTV.

The impetus was a physical relationship Sorrentino had been pursuing with a girl he met on the flight to Los Angeles to do press for the show.

"A few months later, I was back in LA and met up with that girl again. This time, Vinny and Pauly were with me," Sorrentino writes in the book. "Like Biggie said, I told her, 'Tell your friends to get with my friends, and we can be friends.' Let's just say she showed up with her two friends, I showed up with my two friends, and we ALL became friends."

This is just one instance revealed throughout the book that offers insight into Sorrentino's extensive sexual history. He also states that there was another group-sex ordeal including himself, Guadagnino and a girl they met at a club one night. They had been filming for the show, he says, but MTV never aired the footage.

According to the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star, events like this weren't rare for him, as there was a point in time when he had at least a threesome every night. In fact, he said one hotel director compared him to George Clooney due to the amount of women he had been seen taking to his room, but he also admitted that his drug use eventually caught up with him in the bedroom, too.

"You know, I was a ladies' man before the money and the fame. But then, obviously, once the show had happened, it was like gasoline to a fire. Everything was ablaze," Sorrentino tells The Messenger of this time in his life.

"You know, the millions, and the Ferraris and the Lamborghinis, the show was No. 1, the endorsements and things like that. So, it was like a tsunami of excess, and, you know, women flocked to that," he says. "Also, you know, I always was a smooth talker and had charisma. That always helped. Like I said, now, 10, 15 years later, it was time to tell the story and the details, and it's definitely one hell of a story."
