Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B Tap (and Twerk!) Their ‘Bongos’ on 2023 MTV VMAs: Watch
This is the Grammy Award winners' second collaboration since their 2020 smash hit 'WAP'
Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B stormed the 2023 MTV VMAs stage with an electric performance of their new collaboration, "Bongos."
The two scantily-clad stars twerked to their new island-influenced dance track surrounded by backup dancers and the song's quintessential drums. "Backshots sound like bongos," Stallion rapped as the audience erupted.
The crowd was packed with stars including Ice Spice, Selena Gomez and Lil Nas X. In fact, the "Montero" artist could be seen standing up in the crowd and shouting every word of the song.
This is the Grammy Award winners' second collaboration since their 2020 smash hit "WAP."
The appearance is Megan Thee Stallion's first television awards show performance since fellow rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to ten years in prison for shooting her in the foot in 2020.
Cardi B is currently teasing her sophomore album, expected in 2024.
