What Is the $35 ‘Mean Girls’ Experience?
The pop-up experience is designed to transport visitors to Tina Fey's classic world of 'Mean Girls' ahead of the new movie's January premiere
Fans will soon be invited to experience life as a Plastic in a new Mean Girls-themed, immersive experience presented by Bucket Listers and Paramount.
When Mean Girls (2024), the big-screen adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, premieres this coming January, fans in New York City and Los Angeles will be able to celebrate with a new dining pop-up.
Starting in LA on Jan. 12 and NYC on Jan. 19 (for a limited time), The Mean Girls Experience will offer fans recreations of some of the original 2004 film's most iconic staples, such as the Stab Caesar Salad or the Kälteen Brownie. The venue is described as "a fast-casual restaurant of chef-driven, cafeteria-style fare."
Attendees can stroll through the hallowed halls of North Shore High; dine in the cafeteria; order cocktails at the Cool Mom Bar; scribble a note in the Burn Book; channel their inner Regina George by posing in front of her bedroom mirror; step into the spotlight on stage at the Winter Talent Show; try to keep up with the intellectual stamina of the Mathletes; become a certified expert at the Museum of Mean Girls; and shop exclusive merchandise.
Exact dates and locations are soon to be announced, but fans can join the waitlist now to be the first to know when tickets go on sale. Each reservation comes with a choice of entrée and side item, a 90-minute table reservation (inclusive of access to all photo opportunities and designated areas), and a Candy Cane-gram.
The new movie musical stars Tina Fey, returning to her role as Ms. Norbury, and Tim Meadows as Principal Duvall. Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Bebe Wood and Avantika round out the central cast, alongside Christopher Briney, Jenna Fischer, Busy Philipps and Jon Hamm. Ashley Park, who originated the role of Karen Smith in the Broadway musical, is also featured.
