Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie have reunited six years after he was fired from TODAY.

The former co-hosts both attended the wedding of producer Jennifer Long on Saturday night in New York City. It was the first time they had been photographed at the same event since his firing. TODAY hosts Al Roker and Hoda Kotb were also in attendance.

Lauer was accompanied by his girlfriend, Shamin Abas, while Guthrie entered the event with her husband, Michael Feldman.

While they walked in separately, Guthrie did approach Lauer to give him a hug and kiss, spending a few minutes with him to chat, TMZ reports.

Former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were also present at the wedding.

Lauer was terminated from TODAY in 2019 after former NBC employee Brooke Nevils accused him of sexual assault. This led to multiple reports of similar types of accusations.

The rare public appearance from Lauer comes after People reported that he has "drastically changed his social circle" since his public scandal in recent years. This has included icing out many of his old friends, even the ones who stuck by him throughout the sexual assault allegations.

His "quiet lifestyle" includes dating, spending time with his children, and managing a horse farm with his ex-wife Annette Roque.
