Marc and Heidi D'Amelio are on the mend. During new episodes of The D'Amelio Show, the couple, who are parents to TikTok stars Charli and Dixie D'Amelio, opened up about a marital rough patch that occurred while Heidi and Charli competed on Dancing with the Stars last year. Now, they're revealing their relationship status, nearly one year after DWTS wrapped.

"We're doing great right now," Marc exclusively told The Messenger while promoting The D'Amelio Show ahead of the premiere. "We've had such an incredible relationship, and we've worked at it. I don't think it's necessarily realistic to show our kids that our marriage is perfect. I think it was a great time for both Dixie and Charli to have some appreciation that it's not easy."

"For us being married for 23 years to have come to this point in our marriage, we had to really do some reflecting," Heidi continued. "We wanted it so badly to be great that we went through a rough time to get there, and it was all worth it. But we also grew so much. I don't think I ever would have thought, at 51, that I would have had so much growth."

Marc added that he hopes other fathers will find the situation relatable, since he was used to being "depended on" for the last 20 years, and suddenly found himself lonely.

During a dramatic episode that premiered today, each member of the family gave their recollection of the family's bumpy path through Dancing with the Stars. In a joint confessional with his wife, Marc recalled not feeling "appreciated" during that time period, in which his kids were focusing on social media and his wife was pursuing a career outside of the home.

"I think my first reaction was, 'Burn this sh— down,'" he recalled. "It went from zero to 100 of like, 'I'm done. I'm done with this marriage.'"

Dixie in particular was affected by this, as she remembered feeling "in the middle" of her family during that time. While Heidi and Charli competed, Dixie explained that she was left to discuss her parents' issues with Marc, and she became more and more anxious as the situation went on.

"Hearing my dad talk in circles about how he feels, it's like — I mean, I was there for him through all of it," Dixie tells her therapist in one scene. "Every single word he said, I would listen to and try to help and give advice, while also still love my mom."

The "Be Happy" singer added that the situation made her symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder worse, revealing that she became depressed and lost 15 pounds.

"[I] couldn't sleep because I was so scared I was gonna get a text from my dad like, 'I'm not OK. I need you,'" she explained. "I feel like I had to be there because, I don't know, it just felt like my job and I couldn't say no."

Now, the family is stronger than ever. The foursome just debuted their D'Amelio Footwear line at a SoCal pop-up, while daughters Charli and Dixie assured fans that they've moved past the situation.

"It's weird because we're such in a good place now as a family," Dixie exclusively told The Messenger. "The show being filmed at the middle part of our healing was interesting because we obviously still had some feelings, but now watching it's like, 'Oh, we're totally fine.' I kind of forgot that even happened!"

New episodes of The D'Amelio Show Season 3 arrive Wednesdays on Hulu.
