‘Love Is Blind’ Season 5 Reunion Premiere Date Revealed (And No, It Won’t Be Live This Time)
We're finally getting some answers about which Season 5 couples are still together
Finally, we'll find out if our star-crossed lovers are still just as smitten. Love Is Blind Season 5 will be airing a reunion that premieres this Sunday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c. Unlike last season, this get-together won't be filmed live — thereby avoiding those disastrous technical difficulties — but will still feature our favorite pod squad coming back together to discuss the dramatic new chapter.
In a teaser video, the contestants don their formal attire and prepare themselves for a showdown, all before walking into the studio. As they enter, they pass a sign reading, "Love Is Blind Season 5: Live Reunion Today" — before a producer quickly crosses out the word "live."
"It's not live," the video teases, "But it is unmissable."
In a press release, Netflix explained that the special will "reunite the cast for the first time since their mid-season breakups, 'I Dos,' or 'I Don'ts.'"
"They'll reflect on their relationships, break down this season's twists and turns, and unveil secrets that have unfolded since the experiment concluded," the streamer continued. "You don't want to miss it!"
There were certainly a lot of twists and turns this season. Just two couples — Izzy Zapata and Stacy Snyder, and Lydia Velez Gonzalez and James "Milton" Johnson IV — are set to head down the aisle. Meanwhile, couples like Aaliyah Cosby and Uche Okoroha, plus Taylor Rue and James "JP" Pierce split mid-season, while Johnie Maraist and Chris Fox actually came back together.
Plus, news broke on Friday that Tran Dang — who filmed for Season 5 but was not featured on-screen — sued Love Is Blind's production companies Kinetic Content and Delirium TV over claims of negligence, sexual assault, and false imprisonment.

Dang got engaged to fellow participant Thomas Smith while filming the fifth season, according to the lawsuit. During a trip to Mexico, which was filmed, Dang said she was sexually assaulted by Smith.
In a joint statement to The Messenger, Kinetic Content, LLC and Delirium TV, LLC said that Dang's claims are "meritless."
"We support and stand with victims of sexual assault, but Ms. Dang's claims against the producers are meritless," the statement reads. "We document the independent choices of adults who volunteer to participate in a social experiment. Their journey is not scripted, nor is it filmed around the clock. We have no knowledge or control over what occurs in private living spaces when not filming, and participants may choose to end their journey at any time."
We'll find out which of this season's biggest and weirdest moments make the cut for the reunion soon enough when the Love Is Blind Season 5 reunion premieres on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c on Netflix.
