Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan Say ‘The Traitors’ Tested Their ‘Trust’ as a Couple (Exclusive)

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's relationship has been put to the ultimate test for all the world to see.

The Real Housewives of Miami stars are the first-ever couple to co-star on The Traitors, which debuted its second season on Peacock Friday night. And, although Pippen and Jordan have faced a number of challenges during their year-plus relationship, this might've just been their toughest challenge yet.

As fans of the series know, three contestants are selected as the titular "Traitors," who are tasked with secretly "murdering" one of their costars each night. It's the job of the "Faithfuls" — aka non-Traitors — to figure out who's doing the killing, and banish them from the house.

Naturally, this format can cause some distrust amongst friends — let alone lovers.

"As soon as we got there, I was kind trying to keep distance away from Marcus a little bit, just because I was like, 'Are you a Traitor? Can I trust you?'" Pippen exclusively told The Messenger. "But I definitely feel like we had that conversation as to: If you're a Traitor, it's fine. It's a game."

Ahead of filming, Pippen said the Separation Anxiety cohosts told each other "good luck" if they happened to be selected as a Traitor. Plus, the two agreed to play "individually," with Pippen interested in playing with her fellow Real Housewives stars Tamra Judge, Shereé Whitfield and Phaedra Parks, while Jordan was excited to meet The Challenge stars Johnny Bananas and Chris 'C.T.' Tamburello.

That didn't mean the couple weren't instantly linked by their costars, though.

"I feel like it definitely put a target on our back because everybody else didn't have their significant other," Jordan said. "We came into the game knowing that we were fighting an uphill battle. But it was a special thing to experience with my significant other, so I wouldn't have had it any other way."

Unfortunately, that target turned out to be to their strategic detriment, as Jordan was murdered by the Traitors at the beginning of Episode 3 (something he called a "badge of honor").

The first three episodes of The Traitors Season 2 are now available to stream on Peacock. New episodes premiere Thursdays at 9/8c through March 8.
