Kyle Richards Reveals What Her Family Thinks About Those Morgan Wade Rumors (Exclusive)

Kyle Richards is getting candid about what her friends and family really think of her friendship with Morgan Wade.

Speaking exclusively to The Messenger at a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills "Room Service" watch party on Wednesday, Richards opened up about those romance rumors surrounding her and Wade and explained why her family members — including estranged husband Mauricio Umansky — now "laugh about it."

"In the beginning, it was a little jarring for me to see some of these headlines, but now I'm used to it," Richards said at the party, which was hosted by Threads at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. "And literally nobody is offended anymore. I mean, I've seen every single headline I can imagine and things that would have [sent] the old me over the edge honestly. Now I just don't care. My [daughters] and I laugh about it. I laugh about it with [Mauricio], we talk about it. It's very much an open conversation, you know? I mean, we talk about him and Dancing With the Stars, and everything is just open now."

Last month, Richards admitted she didn't "understand" the buzz surrounding her new friendship with the country music star.

"I don't really understand," she told The Messenger at Kathy Hilton's Los Angeles home for the DIRECTV Celebrates Christmas at Kathy's event, which served as a toy drive for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California.

Added Richards: "I mean, I kind of do," referencing remarks she made about their relationship during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where she called Wade "one of my best, best friends in the world."

"If she didn't have the tattoos she has, people wouldn't have that reaction," she told The Messenger of the dating speculation, adding, "So that's always interesting to me. But if they knew who she was as a person, I don't think people would think twice about it."

A source previously told The Messenger that Wade and Richards, who announced her separation from Umansky over the summer, are not an item.

"There was no cheating. Kyle and Morgan are not together and have not hooked up," the source said. "They are just friends." 

Richards herself has denied the rumors on many occasions.
