Kristin Cavallari is sharing what her kids think of her business ventures.

At Tuesday's Chase Ink Business Premier event — where she was on a panel with host Emma Grede, Pernell Cezar and Wombi Rose — the Hills alum spoke candidly about how her children are not only familiar with the work she does for her jewelry and skincare company, Uncommon James, but are also extremely proud of her.

"They totally know what I do," the former reality star exclusively told The Messenger. "They're really cute about it. I think they're really proud of me. Even for career day at school, I did a little video for that, and they're like, 'Oh, we saw your video!' It's really cute."

Cavallari says that her 7-year-old daughter Saylor is even interested in following her footsteps.

"Saylor's 7, so does she say she wants to take over Uncommon James? Yeah, but like, we'll see what happens," she said with a laugh. "I don't want to discount the boys, too. I have a lot of men in my company — my COO, my CFO — and they're great. And so I don't know. We'll see there... But yes, they know what I do. They're interested in it, and they're proud of me."

In addition to her youngest, Cavallari also has two sons, Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 9, all of whom she shares with her former husband Jay Cutler. She says that although a family business might be fun in the future, the boys don't seem to be particularly interested in her jewelry line.

"Nike, they would want to," she joked.

The Laguna Beach star opened up about not wanting to make her kids feel spoiled and teaching them the importance of hard work, saying that it is "really important" that her kids "do not just get whatever they want."

"My mom never gave me anything, and it drove me crazy, but my dad would have given me everything," she said, speaking candidly on her home life. "I didn't live with my dad for middle school and those years. So I was really thankful that my mom didn't give me anything, because it made me realize if I want to get something, I gotta make it happen myself. I've just always been someone who's more proud to get things done myself and make my own money. I've always been like that."

Additionally, Cavallari shared how she talks finances with her kids and opened up about how she deals with allowances as a businesswoman.

"We've tried the allowance thing a few times," she shared. "It kind of goes out the window. But the only time they really get money is for their birthdays or Christmas, from my grandparents and stuff. But I do try to teach them, like, just because you have $100 doesn't mean you have to spend it. Save it for something that you really want instead of just like, 'Well, I've got money, so I should spend it.' Just making them appreciate the value of $1."
