Kimberly Perry is a new mom! The "Mother Like Mine" singer welcomed her first child, son Whit Costello, with husband Johnny Costello on Aug. 26.

She revealed the news on Instagram with a sweet photo of her kissing baby Whit's forehead.

"Welcome to our world Whit Costello!" she captioned the photo, adding that her newborn arrived at 4:01 p.m. in Nashville, Tenn. He weighed 7 lbs. and 8 oz.

"In one short week Johnny and I have moved from a season of BLOOM into a SUPERBLOOM," the Grammy winner continued. "Our lives have become sweeter, our days have become so much fuller, our sleep has gotten shorter - our house has truly become a home."

Added Perry: "Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. It's been such a sweet time getting baby Whit here safely and soundly and acclimating as a new family. We can't wait to show him the world - this bus baby is ready to roll!"

Perry first announced that she was pregnant on Instagram in April. The country star revealed in December 2021 that she and Costello eloped in Las Vegas that June.

In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, Perry wrote, per Country Now, "Wishing everyone a very MARRIED Christmas. Today my love, @juannycostello, and I are celebrating 6 months since 'I do!' On June 17th we hit the road from LA to Las Vegas in a black corvette and got married at midnight. It was wild and wonderful and reminded me all over again that God is the most glorious creator and the master of the most beautiful blueprint for our lives! I love you Johnny and can't wait for forever."
