You’ve probably heard by now that Usher will headline the halftime show on Feb. 11, 2024 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. But did you see who helped him make the announcement?

In a minute-long video clip posted on X, formerly Twitter, Kim Kardashian can be seen making the call to Usher, who says he’s in the studio. While her glam squad is touching up her makeup, Kim tells Usher, “I finally got the answers to those rumors. It’s not about me, it’s about you. You’re doing the Super Bowl!”

“Quit playing with me, man,” Usher says in disbelief.

“It’s true. You’re playing the Apple Music Halftime Show in Vegas,” Kim says.

“No for real, don’t play like that,” a skeptical Usher responds.

“I don’t have time to play. One, I’m busy. Two, you’re doing the Super Bowl,” Kim shoots back.

Finally, Kim convinces the “Yeah!” singer he’s got the gig, adding that she’s seen him in Vegas twice, but “this will be different.”

Kim then starts listing her lengthy guest list request for her family, kids “and five or 10 friends,” adding, “Who should I send my ticket request to?” but before a flabbergasted Usher responds, “I’m gonna call you back.”

This will be Usher’s second Super Bowl appearance. He performed as a guest of the Black Eyed Peas when they headlined the 2011 halftime show.
