Kris Jenner Worries Khloé Kardashian Will ‘Regret’ Not Making Things Work With Tristan Thompson

Khloé Kardashian faces an uncertain future with former partner Tristan Thompson, and Kris Jenner is worried about what comes next.

Kardashian and Thompson, who broke up in June 2021, are back under the same roof on season four of The Kardashians after damage done to Thompson's home.

Being roommates has allowed Thompson to spend more time with their two children — daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 1 — and, of course, Kardashian herself.

"You and Tristan do spend a lot of quality co-parenting time together," Jenner said to Kardashian on Thursday's episode. "What happens if he moves on and you haven’t moved on? How are you going to feel about that?"

Kardashian, who has been transparent about leaving the door slightly ajar for a potential reconciliation with Thompson, answered honestly.

"I don’t know until I get there," she admitted. "But I want him to move on. I want him to find someone and to be happy, whatever that means."

She then related her current situation back to her marriage to Lamar Odom, whom she divorced in 2016.

"The first time I saw [Odom] with someone in a magazine or online somewhere, I remember it still stung," she told Jenner. "But I didn’t want to be with him. After the first time, then you get over it."

After going through that heartbreak once, she's prepared to experience it all over again.

"The same goes with Tristan," Kardashian continued. "I imagine the first time he is with someone, yeah, it will sting a little bit. I don’t know, but I think that’s probably normal."

Normal or otherwise, her mother expressed concern for her daughter's path ahead.

"I really worry for Khloe that if Tristan does meet somebody one day and does move on," Jenner said in a confessional, "Is she going to regret not getting back with him fully?"

Throughout their relationship, Thompson cheated on Kardashian multiple times, which included fathering a child with another woman — model Maralee Nichols gave birth to Thompson's son Theo, 1, in December 2021.

"Tristan is a great guy," Kardashian argued. "If you don’t think it infuriates me that basically I helped mold this person into who he is and now the greatness of him gets to be shared with someone else, yeah, that’s very frustrating for me."

Still, Kardashian expressed she has "no reason to settle for someone that didn’t feel this way about me."
