Family isn't an important thing. It's everything for Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt.

As the best-selling author continues raising her own two daughters with husband Chris Pratt, she also maintains a strong bond with her siblings, including sister Christina and brothers Chris and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

While everyone is balancing their own passions and projects, Katherine credits Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver for creating a family bond that shows no signs of ending.

"For both of my parents, family is super important," she exclusively told The Messenger while celebrating her holiday collection with Cleobella. "My mom has always taught from the beginning just about family and family memories. It's one of the reasons that I thought that this collaboration and partnership makes so much sense, because family is so important to both of us."

As part of her partnership with Cleobella, Katherine designed oven mitts, aprons and napkin sets that families can enjoy while baking. She also created dresses and pajamas that generations of women can wear around the holiday season.

"I was with my mom and she tried on her Cleobella pajamas and she said, 'I'm wearing these to Sunday family dinner,'" Katherine said. "Everybody's so close and so supportive. They also share with me the values of how we grew up, but also the importance of family and being supportive."

While hosting a party for her collaboration at the Palisades Village in California earlier this month, Katherine was joined by Maria, Chris, Christina, Patrick and his girlfriend Abby Champion.

"My honey is a fashion designer!" Chris wrote on Instagram when the collection launched. "We have yet another accolade to add to the trophy collection! She made some awesome clothes that you & your little ones are going to love!"

One extra special component of Katherine's collection is the ability for shoppers to have one percent of every purchase donated to a non-profit. One of the organizations consumers can choose from is The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

"It was really important to me as a mother now," she said. "I've always been aware of all the incredible work that my grandmother did in her time here and being such an advocate for people with intellectual disabilities but also women and children. I was really grateful that they agreed to make that a recipient of it."
