Kardashians Have Treated Travis Barker’s Kids With Shanna Moakler Like ’Their Own’ as Tensions Rise: Source (Exclusive) 

After Shanna Moakler — the ex-wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker — slammed the Kardashians and Barker as "disgusting" for their role in "parenting alienation" of her children she shares with the musician, a source tells The Messenger the kids have been welcomed into the Kardashian clan with "open arms."

"The family has taken Travis' kids in with open arms and have treated them like their own family," the source said. "The Kardashians have tried to be an extending arm to the kids."

Moakler and Barker separated in 2008 and share two children, Landon, 20, and Alabama, 18 (Barker is also stepfather to Moakler's daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24).

During the most recent episode of Bunnie XO's Dumb Blonde podcast, Moakler shared that her kids were at first "enamored" by the Kardashians and explained why she feels she can't keep up.

"I think there was a lot of glitter and fame, and they watched them on TV, and now their dad is dating one, and they're going to be on the show. And I think they got caught up in that, which young kids would do," explained Moakler. "They're buying them Prada, and they're buying them gifts, and they're going to these events, and they're meeting Kanye and, you know, all this big stuff."

"I can't give them that," she said. "I don't have that. I don't have access to that. I don't have the money to do that. I can't buy you guys Prada every other week and stuff. I don't. I can't do it. My house isn't a mansion like, Travis'. I don't have a movie theater. I don't have golf carts for you kids to drive."

Moakler also said that Barker "always wanted to be the 'super dad.'"

"When Travis got with Kourtney, there was some parental alienation going on there, where Travis — even when we weren't together — always wanted to be the 'super dad,' " she said of her ex. "'I'm the best parent. I'm the this and that,' and I'm like 'Bro, you win.' Like you're the winner here. You have all the money and you have all this. You're the winner."

Moakler has, however, previously stated that she has no "ill will" toward the Lemme founder. "Do I want him to be happy? Absolutely. I want him to be happy and if she makes him happy, I think that's awesome," Moakler said in 2021.

Landon and Alabama have previously claimed on social media that Moakler is an absent mother. She responded to the accusations in 2021, saying, "The claims of being absent from my children's lives are false and incredibly hurtful. Co-parenting is hard, but I have always and will continue to prioritize my children's happiness and well-being."

Barker and Kardashian welcomed baby Rocky in November, The Messenger confirmed at the time.
