Julianne Hough Reveals ‘Most Heartwarming’ Part of Derek Hough’s ‘Magical’ Wedding (Exclusive)

Watching Derek Hough marry Hayley Erbert is a day Julianne Hough won't soon forget.

Less than two months after the couple experienced their dream wedding, one family member is still struggling to pick her absolute favorite moment from the celebration.

"It's hard to choose one, but I will say, at the end of the day, there's a wedding and there's a marriage," Julianne exclusively shared with The Messenger when supporting Blender Bites. "To be able to witness two people sharing their vows is a very sacred experience that not a lot of people get that insight into someone's journey that they've been through together as a couple or where they are planning on going. Witnessing and listening to their vows to each other was really, really special and rooted in love and rooted in what the next 50+ years will look like. I think that was the most heartwarming."

But once the rings were exchanged and the couple was pronounced husband and wife, it was time to party.

As seen on social media, guests including Jenna Johnson, Nina Dobrev, Alfonso Ribeiro and Shawn Johnson were able to let their hair down and hit the dance floor. 

"Then all the dancing, how can you not love that?" Julianne added of her favorite memories. "We are Houghs and we have all the dancing blood but then all the friends too. It was just magical. Fun but also really, really rooted in truth and honesty and love and commitment and I just love that."

The wedding festivities occurred just weeks before Julianne kicked off a brand-new season of Dancing with the Stars by serving as the show's new co-host.
