Jessie James Decker and husband Eric Decker were "very, very, very surprised" when they learned that she was expecting their fourth child. The singer opened up to fans in an Instagram Q&A posted on Sunday, explaining that she hadn't planned on getting pregnant again.

"As you know, I had been telling Eric it was probably time to get a vasectomy because I felt like we were done," Decker said. "But I just feel like God always has other plans. It was extremely shocking and surprising, but [we're] happy excited."

She added, "Being able to have another little baby is, like, the most incredible blessing. We are all just over the moon."

Decker announced her pregnancy on August 22, sharing an Instagram video of herself stepping out onto a terrace with her baby bump in tow. "Good morning," she captioned the post, which was set to Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby."

The "I Still Love You" singer previously quipped about her husband's lack of a vasectomy while appearing in a June 2023 ad for Ryan Reynolds' Aviation gin. Decker makes her hubby a "Vasectomy Cocktail," which she promises will be "quick and painless."

"It's time for another vasectomy," she announced. "Something my husband refuses to get so I'm taking matters into my own hands."
