Jeannie Mai Asks Court to ‘Enforce’ Infidelity Clause in Prenup With Jeezy

Jeannie Mai's response comes after Jeezy said their 'informal' custody agreement was 'stressful' for their daughter Monaco, who was born in January 2022

Jeannie Mai has responded to Young Jeezy's divorce filing, and is asking the court to "enforce" an infidelity clause in their split after two years of marriage.

Jeannie filed the docs, obtained by The Messenger, in a Fulton County, Ga., court on Dec. 1, just a day after Jeezy alleged in his own filing that The Real alum "has acted as a gatekeeper" in the "stressful" and "informal" custody agreement concerning their daughter Monaco, who turns 2 next month. He insisted that he doesn't think Jeannie "is acting maliciously" or trying to fracture his relationship with Monaco, but asked for a more formal arrangement.

Jeannie, through her lawyers, said that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" and noted that they signed a prenup with an infidelity clause that "the court should enforce." She also requested "joint temporary and permanent legal custody" of their daughter, while asking for "primary temporary and permanent physical custody: and a "parenting plan."

The infidelity clause says that if either of them participates in a sexual or emotional relationship (that includes texting, sexting, social media messages, and FaceTime) it "shall result in a significant financial penalty" for the person who was unfaithful.

She also wrote that she "reserves the right" to change her response and "add additional grounds for divorce" that she didn't want to detail as she hoped "this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly."

As for their custody agreement, Jeannie said they should be awarded temporary joint physical custody, however, she wants to have "final decision-making authority." Monaco remains in Atlanta, Ga., with Jeezy and Jeannie, per the docs, and also in Los Angeles with Jeannie, which Jeezy's filing stated.

She is also requesting child support.

The Messenger reached out to Jeezy and Jeannie's reps for comment on both filings.
