Jason Momoa is embracing the next chapter of his life days after ex-wife Lisa Bonet filed for divorce.

In a new interview, the Aquaman star opened up about his latest project, Max's On the Roam — a docuseries that follows Momoa traveling the country to meet extraordinary individuals blazing their own path — and why living on the road is working for him.

"Bro, I don't even have a home right now," Momoa told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published Wednesday. "I live on the road."

"I'm always in these weird places," he added. "You're gonna find me on the road. It happens all the time. They're like, 'What the hell are you doing in our hometown?' I love the idea of just being with everyday people and doing my craft, which is filming, and then showing them. And so, I think through doing that for so long, I got to be curious about it."

Hence, the creation of his new docuseries.

"These are the things I really want to do, and hopefully by doing that and creating something and passing it on to charity," he said. "I'm like, 'Wow, this feels good.' I'm doing what I want to do."

On Monday, Bonet filed for divorce nearly two years after she and Momoa announced their separation, The Messenger confirmed at the time.

Per Los Angeles Superior County, Bonet cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce and listed their date of separation as Oct. 7, 2020, after getting married in October 2017 (though they were first romantically linked in 2005).

The former pair has also requested joint custody of their two kids — daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15 — with neither party requesting spousal support. Bonet also shares daughter Zoë Kravitz with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.

Bonet and Momoa settled their divorce on Tuesday.

The former couple first publicly announced their split in January 2022, writing on Instagram that they had "felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times."

"A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception... feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the joint statement read. "And so we share our family news that we are parting ways in marriage."

"We share this not because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty," the statement continued. "The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become."

On the Roam: With Jason Momoa premieres Jan. 18 on Max.
