Jamie Lynn Spears is opening up about her relationship with Britney Spears.

Jamie Lynn, who stars in the current season of the UK reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, was asked by her co-stars if she and the "Gimme More" singer "get along."

"Yeah, I love her," she said on an episode that aired Saturday. "She's a good big sister, she is. Me and her will throw down. The world's seen that. I've learned to stop talking about it publicly, but families fight. We just do it better than most."

Looking back at her and Britney's childhood, the Zoey 101 star added, "Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing and very complicated circumstances. We've both had to deal with them in different ways. Sometimes we took it out on each other for crap we shouldn't have.

"I've been the one person in her life that she can say I've never taken anything from her," continued Jamie Lynn. "I've been the one person in her life that said, 'I just want to be your sister.' We just had a really weird life so we can't explain it to many people but at the end of the road, I know that that's my family. I love 'em."

She added that Britney's sons, Jayden, 17, and Sean, 18, are "so precious and so cute. They couldn't be better boys."

Britney detailed the roots of her and Jamie's fractured relationship in her bombshell memoir The Woman in Me, which was released last month.

In the book, Britney shared how she reached out to Jamie Lynn for help during her conservatorship. "I also texted my sister when I was in that place and asked her to get me out. 'Stop fighting it,' she texted back. 'There's nothing you can do about it, so stop fighting it,'" Britney wrote. "Along with the rest of them, she kept acting like I was a threat in some way. This will sound crazy, but I'll say it again because it's the truth: I thought they were going to try to kill me."
