Inside  ‘Golden Bachelor’ Private Reception Not Seen on TV for Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist Wedding

The Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist tied the knot on Jan. 4 as part of a live ABC special. What you didn't see was the private reception following the wedding, which featured all-white decor and custom themed cocktails.

The Knot offered a sneak peek at the dining room before the festivities began, sharing a TikTok that revealed an elegant hall decked out in soft palettes and roses at every table. Signature drinks included the Final Rose (an old-fashioned) and Turner Into a Mrs. (vodka, cranberry juice and a twist of lime).

Turner and Nist said "I do" at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, with Susan Noles, who previously competed for the Golden Bachelor's affections, officiating. The bride donned a Badgley Mischka gown, and Turner sported a black tux.

"From the first sip of chocolate shake to the last taste of Costa Rican coffee, I learned that you are the woman I can't live without," Turner said in his vows. "I learned that you make me calm, with the touch of your hand. I've learned that you make me laugh with the easy comfort of long lost friends."

Nist added, "We have so much love to share and now so many more people to share it with. I promise to be your calm in a storm, to comfort you when you're sad, to laugh when you're happy and to stick with you throughout it all."

Several members of Bachelor Nation were in attendance at the nuptials, from Wells Adams and Michelle Young to Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti. There were multiple contestants from Turner's season of the Golden Bachelor as well, including runner-up Leslie Fhima. In an Instagram story shared after the nuptials, Fhima posted a snap of her hugging the bride and wrote, "Love you @theresa_nist."
