See Inside Angelina Jolie’s New Store, Where She and Her 6 Kids Have Been Hanging Out (Exclusive)

Angelina Jolie's dreams of opening her first Atelier Jolie store are quickly becoming a reality.

Close to six months after the actress' new purpose-driven clothing collective announced its first location, a few New Yorkers and visiting tourists were able to explore the store first-hand.

The Messenger has learned the Big Apple location is currently operating on an appointment-only basis for consumers hoping to try on clothes.

The cafe in the back of the establishment, however, is open to the public. Run by Eat Offbeat — a restaurant and catering collective that showcases the cooking talents of New York City's refugee communities — the menu includes Venezuelan hot chocolate, Turkish coffee, avocado toast, creamy lentil soup and more.  

Guests can sit at a craft table to draw on patches or in a sketchbook. The three-story building also has a piano and an opportunity for guests to play chess. 

According to multiple sources, Jolie has been active with the store's development and has even made it a family affair. 

"Angelina was here every day last week with the kids, all six!" one eyewitness exclusively shared with The Messenger. "She was hanging out in the cafe with everyone drinking and serving coffee.”

Another eyewitness added, "The kids sketched but didn't play the white piano in the cafe. Everyone had a great time." 

It's not all work and no play for Jolie during her latest New York visit. Earlier this week, the Oscar winner had a Maleficent reunion at the Hayes Theatre when she paid a visit to Appropriate on Broadway.

In a photo obtained by Broadway World, Jolie was able to meet with her former Disney co-star Elle Fanning as well as other Appropriate actors including Sarah Paulson, Corey Stoll, Natalie Gold, Michael Esper, Alyssa Emily Marvin and Graham Campbell.

The show, directed by Lila Neugebauer, will run through March 3, 2024.

Jolie is also part of the producing team of The Outsiders, the new musical based on book by S.E. Hinton and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film adaptation of the same name starring Hollywood's '80s heartthrobs (Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio, C. Thomas Howell, Emilio Estevez and Diane Lane). It begins performances at New York City's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre March 16, ahead of its official opening on April 11, 2024.
